Admission and regulation
The HOPE Outdoor Gallery is a private property so you have to apply in advance to visit the park. Everyone is eligible to receive a paint pass as long as the participant is older than 18 years old or accompanied by an adult. Fill a question form, provide an ID proof, a sketch of your intended art and you are good. The park opens daily from 9 AM to 7 PM, you can pick up your pass at the HOPE information trailer every weekend between 11 AM and 4 PM. Volunteers and visitors are not allowed to stay inside the park after dark.
Act politely, respect other people arts and take care of your own trash while you are at the place. People without proper papers or behave badly may be asked to leave the park.

You are able to purchase paints and rent ladder at the place before you can paint to your heart content. Again, do wear something that let you navigate steep walks and deep trails conveniently. Beyond that, there is nothing else you have to pay attention to, simply paint as you like. Of course, you can always walk around and enjoy the view instead of painting the place. The top of the park is a great place to witness the beauty of the sunset. It takes quite a bit of time to make the ascent though so calculate your time carefully.
The road and trail are mostly dirt so it’s probably best to visit the gallery when the weather is completely dry. Walking around the park after a rainy day could be a real challenge. There isn’t a lot of trash can available in the gallery, you got to carry used paint supplies, wrappings, foods, drinks and alike by yourself for later disposal. Due to insufficient parking space, you cannot squeeze an RV with a best RV mattress short queen in anytime soon.
HOPE Outdoor Gallery also hosts a wide range of programs from art classes to field trips as well. People can shoot a shown here or use the park as a wedding ground if wanted as long as you obtain an approval.
